The Encounter Series-Details
The combination of LV luggage-shaped window props and different materials and forms of old chairs, which are two kinds of recycled old objects, is combined with the collision of different cultural forms and different time and space, so as to produce more interests and possibilities to meet the usability of life and the aesthetics of design.
My creative practice often focuses on giving new life to old things. My work combines abandoned LV window trunks with old chairs collected from all over China, and these once neglected objects are restructured and designed to take on a new look. Although they are old things, the "old" has become the source of their beauty, reflecting China's unique historical and cultural accumulation. At the same time, these works also reflect the exploration of sustainable design, which not only responds to the social demand for resource reuse, but also echoes the contemporary Chinese design trend, giving traditional objects a new mission and significance.
Wu Ming insists on creating in the direction of sustainable art, reorganizing and reconstructing different recycled materials to reshape nature with art installations and convey the joy of sustainable lifestyle. With a double bachelor's degree in architecture, he is good at insight into demand from the perspective of architecture and building brand experience with innovative design.
