If the future is the world of nomads, where will they go?
Coffee Trail GO ROAMING -- The Design of Coffee Culture Experience Space in Suzhou Industrial Park. We create a coffee world for people who yearn for nomadism in the future: combine the new nomadic life scene with the coffee scene to create a coffee space with the characteristics of nomadic life that pursues sensory release, interest and interpersonal blending, and technology empowers life, incorporating the sensory experience of coffee as a drink, the social experience as a medium, and the experience as an innovative form of culture, the space becomes a gathering place for modern urban life that integrates multiculturalism, digital play and is full of social vitality. With the multi-dimensional experience of coffee, based on the local Suzhou cultural base, we use Suzhou garden gardening techniques as the spatial organization to create a sense of spatial experience of flow and exploration. In the change of space, we touch coffee, filling imagination and enriching mood. In this space, coffee is no longer a simple drink, or a visual element, but constructs the ecology of coffee, combining coffee, people, and life. Coffee Tour GO ROAMING-Suzhou Industrial Park Coffee Culture Experience Space Design, we have created a coffee world for people who yearn for nomadism in the future: combining the new nomadic life scene with the coffee scene to create a coffee space with the characteristics of nomadic life that pursues sensory release, interest and interpersonal blending, and technology-enabled life.
The architectural site of this work is located in Suzhou, a city that takes into account the flexibility of water and the weight of culture, and spans the dense tradition and modern technology. In China, when talking about Suzhou, we will definitely talk about gardens. When thinking about the coffee shops in Suzhou, we also want to integrate into the garden culture, but the garden is traditional and the coffee is modern. How to properly integrate these two traditional and modern languages in one space is the most considered problem at that time. We didn't choose the most primitive garden, but focused on extracting people's feelings in the garden experience: walking, tossing and turning, emotion, ups and downs, sight and transformation. At the same time, taking coffee as the core subject of space narrative, we focused on the relationship between sequence organization, path planning and space penetration in the process of space design, and strengthened the rhythm change of space, the overlapping interaction of sight and the creation of rich levels: through the large-scale opening and closing of space horizontal and vertical, the contemporary translation of space sequence is formed, the scientific and technological iteration of "frame scene-leakage scene-to-scene" is realized through mechanical device and indoor vegetation planting, and the spatial catalyst is formed through different types of coffee devices to stimulate the spatial narrative of user self-organization. Thus, in the rolling and folding of the space, the story of coffee is told and the picture of coffee is slowly unfolded.
The garden shows the metaphysical spiritual connotation with its elegant posture, and the coffee also has an elegant temperament, so why not use a metaphysical cultural expression? The garden builds the spiritual peach garden of "not going to the hall to feast, sitting in the poor spring", and we hope that in this space, we can build a vision and state of mind belonging to the nomadic youth, and the heart goes into the boundless distance. Every step is unknown and changing. The garden is a solidified ancient poem and the most exquisite Jiangnan narrative in Chinese culture. In the design of the coffee trail GO ROAMING, it is a prose poem and a melodious pastoral song of modern Suzhou. There is no gorgeous words and high notes, but it is faint, far and near, but wants to grasp and carve the ups and downs and every change into the gap of time.
