Brendan Cormier is Chief Curator of V&A East in London, UK, overseeing the artistic programme at two sites on the Olympic Park, V&A East Storehouse and V&A East Museum. Previously at the V&A, he led on several major curatorial projects including: the V&A Gallery at Design Society in Shenzhen, China, curating the Applied Arts Pavilion at the Venice Biennale of Architecture, the exhibition Cars: Accelerating the Modern World, and the editorial project Pandemic Objects.
Prior to his work as a curator, he was the managing editor at Volume Magazine in Amsterdam, NL, and co-founder of Department of Unusual Certainties, a design/research practice in Toronto, Canada.
