Professor Raymond Au Wai Man, PhD, MH has achieved his 40 years of tertiary education training in fashion design. After gaining his MA in Fashion from St. Martin’s School of Art (now the Central Saint Martins of the University of Arts London), his great passion in fashion illustration which he has developed from his earlier fashion training in UK, and with works exhibited in renowned fairs like Pitti Filati, Italy, has further induced him to gain his Doctorate in Fashion.
With strong past experiences and recognition, Professor Raymond has been recognized as one of the visionary leaders in Fashion & Educational field. And he always stays connected to local and international professionals, maintains a great relationship with insiders in the industry. Apart from awarded honorary appointments of various professional and professorship standings, in recognition to his valuable contributions to the fashion design sector, grooming fashion designers and the fashion industry, on 30 June 2017 Professor Raymond has been honored with the award of Medal of Honor by the HKSAR Government.
