His works blend humanity with modern aesthetics, achieving an optimal balance between cultural expression and design value, bolstered by his keen market insights. He has deep expertise in cultural tourism, hospitality, spas, fashion arts, historical building renovation, and urban renewal. Mr. Sun articulates his understanding of spatial contexts in a poetic manner, advocating for a natural approach that transcends rigid styles. He focuses on establishing an independent contemporary design aesthetic for China and has developed a philosophy encompassing "Time," "Space," "Object," and “Role," which he actively incorporates into his creative practice. His works have been exhibited at the MAXXI National Museum of 21st Century Art in Rome, Italy, following invitations from the Ministry of Culture and National Art Museum of China. In 2014, he organized the inaugural China Interior Design Art Week and initiated the first "Off-site Exhibition" of design arts, which received significant attention both within the industry and beyond. In 2024, he was invited to serve as the chief curator of the Shanghai Tea Life Fair, overseeing the "Tea World" special exhibition.
