The Dulong blanket in the Dulong River area was used in ancient times to "dress the day and cover the night.
The fabric design of naze naze is inspired by the local natural scenery of Dulong River. In order to meet the daily use, we design in a more aesthetic way based on the traditional patterns of the Dulong River. We will determine the size of pillows, tissue boxes and other products according to the original width of hand-woven fabrics to minimize the remaining fabric.
Through years of training for local administrators and the use of high-quality wool yarns, the soft and vibrant hand-woven fabrics can meet the standards of market sales, and the emotion of slow weaving is conveyed to fabric users in the city.
naze naze dulongjiang series is designed by local collection and weaving in cooperation with the local weaver in dulongjiang township on the border between china and burma. finally, it returns to shanghai to make articles that can be used for a long time in daily life: bags, blankets, scarves, pillows, shawls, cloaks, eye masks, tissue boxes, etc. The designer chose the wool material to add texture to the home. The color scheme is inspired by the local natural scenery of Dulong River.
Since 2015, naze naze has been working with Weaver Girl in Dulongjiang, Yunnan Province. Up to now, the project has reached its 10th year. The number of cooperative Weaver Girl has increased from 12 to 192.
Weaving is part of the daily life of Dulongjiang women. The local weaver uses a traditional waist machine, and it takes about a week to weave an 8-meter-long hand-woven fabric. naze naze according to the local production rhythm and living habits, under the premise of not affecting the daily farm work and housework of the weaver girl, cooperate with them to weave cloth.
We also encourage local weavers to participate in color design and project management by means of weaver training and weaving competitions.
While working with Weaver, naze is also giving back to the local community. In 2024, Dulong River set up its own cooperative. naze naze systematically shared many years of practical experience of the project with local weavers through administrator training and other means, hoping that the weaving project can grow and continue more independently in the local area. The two spaces renovated by Dylan Group in Xian Jiudang Village, Dulongjiang Township, named "Dylan Mengli" by administrator Jin Chunhua, have been put into use during the production season.

Starting from the Dulong River Project in Yunnan Province starting in 2015, the cooperation between naze naze and weavers continues to Dali in Guizhou, Russia in Sichuan and Menglian in Yunnan. The profits from the project are used to support the sustainable development of the project, as well as to give back to the Weaver Girl and the local community.
