1. project background
The restaurant design project is located in Houjie, Dongguan, where not only the economy is prosperous, but also the cultural heritage is profound, with many unique intangible cultural heritage and traditional cuisine. The restaurant aims to provide diners with a dining space that can taste authentic food and feel a strong cultural atmosphere by integrating the cultural elements of Houjie.
2. design concept
1. Cultural integration: integrate the intangible cultural heritage and folk customs of Houjie into the restaurant design to create a dining space with local characteristics.
2. People-oriented: the design pays attention to the dining experience of diners. Through reasonable space layout, comfortable dining environment and high-quality service, diners can feel the warmth of home while tasting delicious food.
3. Inheritance and innovation: on the basis of retaining traditional elements, integrating modern design concepts, so that the restaurant has both a sense of history and a sense of fashion.

Spatial layout
1. Hall: keep the function of traditional teahouse and set up spacious and bright dining area. The stairs retain the dragon culture of Houjie, represented by "dancing wooden dragon" (also known as dryland dragon boat dance), which reflects the local people's worship of dragon and their desire to pray for peace and harvest. The dragon body is designed as a stair step, and the faucet is used as a carrier on the first floor. The staircase design aims to integrate this profound cultural heritage into modern architectural design as decorative elements and create the charm of oriental elements.
2. Private Room: The private room integrates the rich cultural heritage of Dongguan Houjie into the design of the private room of the restaurant. Through the unique spatial layout, decorative elements and the creation of cultural atmosphere, it provides guests with a dining environment that not only enjoys food but also experiences local culture. As a historical and cultural block in Dongguan, Houjie carries rich intangible cultural heritage and unique regional customs. These elements will become the source of inspiration for this design. With the theme of inheriting and carrying forward the culture of "father and son praise" in Houjie, the characteristic private rooms are designed so that guests can feel the charm of traditional culture while enjoying delicious food. through the design of the four seasons theme of "spring, summer, autumn and winter", each private room will become a unique work of art, which not only meets the needs of customers for delicious food, but also provides a kind of visual and spiritual enjoyment. This design not only enhances the cultural connotation of the restaurant, but also makes every meal an unforgettable trip, allowing customers to feel the beauty of life in the transformation of the four seasons.
Decorative elements
1. Furniture and furnishings: Choose furniture with Cantonese style, such as mahogany tables and chairs, carved screens, etc., with decorations with the theme of Houjie intangible cultural heritage, props for dancing dragons, etc., to create a strong cultural atmosphere.
