Deviation Introduction
In the "Deviation" series, we removed the alignment lock on the plaster mold and the mold shifted due to misalignment. For the acceptance of "deviation" in production, the molds of different blocks can be freely recombined, moved and changed to obtain more diversified shapes. Every casting cannot be repeated, and the standard form in "production" is dissolved, only changeable.

The shape of this series of utensils is separated from the specific daily function orientation. The use of minimalist abstract form, can be positive and negative or multi-angle superimposed placement. To free the object from a single use or viewing angle. We want each object to talk to the field in which it is located, and it is up to the user to define its functional properties.

In today's social environment in the process of continuous modernization, our lives are in a rational structure of the bondage. The more rational arrangements are made, the fewer accidents and accidents become. Modern society has become stable and controllable because it is too orderly, but it is also boring and depressing.
We often try to introduce uncertainty into our work, deliberately deviating the outcome from artificial control. In the "deviation" series, we removed the alignment lock of the mold. The mold was offset due to the inability to align, and each casting could not be repeated. The acceptance of "deviation" in "production" is our response to modern life. No absolute certainty means more possibilities. The molds of different blocks are free to reorganize, move and change without the restriction of the alignment lock, which makes the utensils have more possibilities in shape and function. In the later creation of this series, we also added less controllable materials such as gravel and natural soil to make the texture of the series produce more unexpected changes.
