At first, the beach cleaning activity was only the spontaneous action of a few islanders such as Hai Shu and Liang Zhu. After the establishment of Qingbang Island Public Welfare, the garbage disposal facilities on the island have become more and more mature, and more and more volunteers have joined in to clean the beach together.
Hai Shu, a former seafarer, now runs a home stay and is the soul of Qingbang Island's public welfare.

The first island series cooperates with Trident New Material and Qingbang Island Public Welfare. It uses the ReTraze island plastic recycled fiber that is traced back to the whole process to complete clothing and accessories. The second series "Wool Re-weaving Plan" takes wool as its origin. It is easy to pilling, shrink and become obsolete. However, we redesigned and woven wool yarn by adding new raw materials to recycle yarn, and reshaped the old yarn to regain its new life.
Past acquaintances with sustainable lifestyle friends have helped us discover the waste pollution caused by daily "disposable" consumption, triggering our "rhetorical questions" about inherent design and production methods ". How to reasonably extend the cycle of the product in the material world? How to establish a deeper connection between man and nature, man and man, man and self?
22 The longer cycle begins an attempt in such a rhetorical question. We went to Qingbang in Zhoushan Dongji Islands to pick up the plastic garbage washed to the shore by the waves. We embarked on our circular journey and participated in every link from waste plastic garbage to fabric weaving. In Hebei, we met partners who could no longer downgrade recycled wool and bring old yarn back to life. Through the design of the link, we hope that the article is no longer limited to the short-term popular, but to become an organic part that can accompany life for a long time-the practical function of the product, the long-term use scene in life, the positive impact on the environment, the beauty of color and details, like a puzzle as a whole.
