<among the mountains>
The content of the mountain series printing pattern comes from the animals and plants in the mountain sutra of ancient Chinese books of mountain and sea. The design style refers to the style of the western arts and crafts movement and the new decorative art movement from the 19th century to the 20th century. The series emphasizes symbolic significance, integrates ancient and modern, east and west aesthetics, and reproduces the style of the 19th century while displaying traditional Chinese aesthetics.

The series emphasizes symbolic significance, integrates ancient and modern, east and west aesthetics, and reproduces the style of the 19th century while displaying traditional Chinese aesthetics. On the one hand, the work makes Chinese traditional culture get new visual interpretation, and excavates the available lines of traditional culture in more fields (such as fashion field). At the same time, the revival of the 19th century classical style decoration style, the combination of the two, designed a combination of Chinese and Western, ancient and modern, full of aesthetic philosophy of the product. Different from the previous focus on the description of the shape of the mythical beast, this design extracts all the animals and plants that appear in the Shanhaijing-Shanjing, and takes the animals and plants that have the same or similar effects on people as the benchmark, and organizes them into a picture full of moral patterns, such as warding off evil spirits, relieving worries and so on... In the design performance, it combines the design style of the 19th century arts and crafts movement and the new art movement.
Chinese people's emotions are always delicate and keen. The ordinary movements in life-the crisp sound of the porcelain bowl when it fell to the ground, the light tremble of the fire, and even the lines of a leaf vein, will lead to another layer of metaphor in the bottom of my heart. Just as chopsticks need to say "happy" when they fall to the ground, bamboo shadow shakes the window and feels that it is an old friend visiting us. We can always find the echo of heaven and earth in trivial daily life. This kind of wisdom that turns everything into a symbol has been deeply planted in the blood as early as when Chen Sheng and Wu Guang saw the destiny in the fire of the fire.
My creation is a candlelight talk with the ancients. After reading countless pages of the Book of Mountains and Seas, I found that everyone is always depicting the scales and claws of strange animals, but few people have noticed that those creatures called "divine animals" may be just goats and giant cattle that can cure diseases in the eyes of the ancestors. Many of the vegetation hidden in the cracks are marked with the survival wisdom of "gall to eat" and "pee is not deaf. This is not so much a myth as a survival note written by our ancestors with vegetation and animal bones-teaching people to identify poison ivy miasma, recognize the signs of wind and thunder, and live as a natural child in the wild mountains and forests.
Today we are too far from the land. It's hard to see the hugging old trees between the concrete buildings, and the sleeping tigers and leopards trapped in the iron cages of the zoo. So I tried to re-embellish the forgotten plants, trees, birds and animals in the Sutra of Mountains and Seas, and draw on the silk with green ochre: the hemostatic grass is beside the stem tree leading the way, and the deaf oak roots are wrapped around the fat snake warning drought. When these ancient creatures meet again in the picture scroll, we may remember that people are part of the mountains, lakes and seas, and our palmprints are still flowing with the veins of the Yellow River.
