从对日常生活再发现的角度出发，“路边设计奖”由Right nows联合BottleDream美好社区平台发起征集，旨在鼓励人们重新回到路边，发现和记录日常生活中那些不经意又发着光的小设计。看见好设计，在路边也能颁奖，让每个普通人都可以给他认为是好的路边设计拍照颁奖，并贴上“点赞”奖章。活动期间，共征集到236份颁奖投稿，通过对征集内容的筛选和分类，以路边设计展的方式，从广告提示设计、场景创新应用、产品再设计和概念设计四个类别展现这些正发生在我们身边的有意思的好设计。

通过“路边设计展”的方式回到日常生活中，展览形式选择中国特色的路边宣传栏粘贴报纸的方式，让展览能灵活的出现在城市的大街小巷。一张报纸即展览，我们尝试将新闻式的阅读和展览空间的观看视角变化，在阅读翻折报纸的过程中发生。同时，展览视觉则用喷金漆的方式直接将展览和板块信息喷压在报纸信息上，一种金色的奖赏，用最简单直接的方式回应我们常见的街头墙面喷漆广告，融入我们日常所见的街头视觉景象。从路边来再回到路边去，希望“路边设计奖/展”能启发和作为一种设计的思考回响在当代日常生活中。
